For projects looking for a more elevated appearance, upgraded finish options are also available. Metallic colors such as Copper Penny, Aged Copper, Weathered Zinc, Silver Metallic, and Champagne are identified separately on CMG’s chart, and natural copper is offered within CMG’s Natural Materials category for clients seeking a more premium, specialty-metal look. These upgraded finishes and materials typically come at a higher price point than standard painted finishes, with final price differences depending on the specific finish, gauge, width, and material availability at the time of estimate.
Natural materials such as copper, Bonderized, A606 weathering steel, Galvalume Plus, and G90 galvanized develop a natural patina and variation over time, which is part of their character. Because of that, CMG notes that standard finish warranties do not apply to those natural material products in the same way they do to the coated finish lines.
